Poles support euthanasia
According to 48% of Polish society, the doctors should fulfil the will
of suffering, incurable patients who want to end their life.
39% of us said that it would not be a good idea while 13% could not say
anything about it – says the survey made by the Public Opinion Research
Centre (CBOS). 61% of Poles think that incurable people who suffer from
their disease should have right to decide about their own life.
Also their families should have chance to decide about giving painless
medicines. 26% are positively sure that it is the best solution. On the
other hand, 31% think that nobody can decide about life of incurable
people even when their suffering is very painful. 8% were not able to
say anything about it.
